THE STORY OF A GREAT PASSION
The success of Alfamarine is strictly linked to the passion of one man: Marcello Fazioli, lover of racing and high speed boats. In 1955 he starts to build and to sell fast boats, many of which he pilots himself. In 1975, free from his sports commitments once and for all, Marcello goes ahead with his great project. Alfamarine shipyard is born where a new generation of fast boats will take shape. They are way ahead of all others from technical and a stylistic point of view. Renato Sonny Levi and Franco Harrauer design the famous Bronte 40. For the first time surface propellers are installed. A decidedly revolutionary system of propulsion and forerunner of the Arnesons used today. On the wake of this success ever faster and innovative models are designed and built. Marcello’s son Andrea joins him the business with the same passion and enthusiasm for fast cruisers. Alfamarine shipyard continues on its way to success reaching significant new stages.
